Terms of Service

Effective October 29, 2026. These terms govern use of The Church Books, published by Computer Pro Network LLC.

Have these terms reviewed by qualified counsel before relying on them.

The service

The Church Books provides web-based accounting, contribution, payroll-record, education, curriculum and certificate tools for churches and ministry organizations. It is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting or payroll advice, and it does not calculate payroll taxes, file tax returns or information returns, or produce filing-ready tax forms.

Accounts and organizations

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, for the people you invite and the roles you assign, and for keeping your credentials secure. Each organization's owner is responsible for that organization's use of the service.

Subscription and billing

  • The standard price is $18.99 per month per organization, which includes all modules. Payments are processed by Stripe.
  • Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. You can cancel from Billing at any time; cancellation stops future renewals.
  • If a payment fails, full access continues for a grace period of 7 days. After that, the organization becomes read-only until payment is updated.
  • We will not increase your price without at least 30 days' notice. Discounts with an end date are announced before they end.
  • Lifetime complimentary access, when granted to an organization, means ongoing access to the platform with no recurring charge until we explicitly revoke it or the service ends. If it is revoked, you will be notified and will not be charged unless you choose to subscribe.

Data retention after cancellation

After cancellation your organization's data is preserved and available read-only for viewing and export for 12 months. After that period it may be permanently deleted.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other organizations' data, upload malicious files, or upload content you do not have the right to use, including copyrighted curriculum or Bible translations without permission.

Your content

You retain ownership of the records and curriculum you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, back up and display them to the people you authorize. Curriculum is never shared outside your organization without your request and our explicit approval.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and backed up but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change features with reasonable notice.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the three months before the claim.
